"interrogator-chaplain" (interrogator-chaplain)

So a friend on my Facebook feed posted this article that the Volkswagen XL1 isn't coming to North America
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
. Preliminary research shows some glaring flaws in the article, but is there anything I'm missing?
The red flags are the price is wrong, article states $60,000 and reality is about $140,000 and that production is set at 2,000 while reality is that it's only going to be 250 units.
A lot of what this sounds like is raving conspiracy nonsense, which my friend is known to post. Anyone know any proper sources?

I call b.s. on all that. The slogan on that site makes no sense.

Yeah, I should've looked at some of the other articles. Grade A whack job conspiracy nut articles. My friend is really quite professional and exhibits all the signs of intelligence, but keeps falling for badly sourced articles.

There was a tour through the US for the XL 1. Jalopnik covered it, they even drove the damn thing.
Writer is terrible at using Google, and an idiot.

And people blame Jalopnik for click bait. The amount of ridiculous articles shared on Facebook that are baseless and downright lies are staggering. Even worse still, people think because it's on Facebook it must be true. *le sigh*
